About This Spot

Stepping into Thiago's Italian Kitchen & Bar in Heath feels like finding a quiet corner of Italy tucked away in Ohio. The moment you walk through the door, there’s an inviting warmth—not just from the cozy lighting or the gentle hum of conversation, but from the genuine care weaving through the air. It’s a space where the pace slows just enough to savor good company and familiar flavors, surrounded by an atmosphere that’s both comfortably casual and thoughtfully curated.

Here, meals don’t rush by like checkmarks on a list—they unfold like stories told over shared plates. The kitchen crafts each dish with a respectful nod to tradition: homemade sauces simmer gently, pastas arrive tender and full of character, and seafood shines through simple, well-honed preparation. Whether you’re settling into one of the whimsical heated igloos in cooler months or enjoying a lively dinner inside, the experience remains consistently personal and unhurried.

Behind the scenes, attentive servers naturally blend into the rhythm of the room, ensuring glasses are refilled and warmth stays steady without ever feeling overbearing. It’s that kind of presence that makes you feel seen without fuss, like an old friend returning to a place that’s familiar yet ever welcoming.

Thiago's is a neighborhood spot where family tables bustle softly alongside quiet corners for two, where the menu invites tasting and sharing rather than speed and routine. It’s a place to linger over a rich shrimp Alfredo or savor the crisp comfort of a well-crafted cod platter. The focus is less on flashy trends and more on the simple joy of good comfort food in a pleasant setting, made memorable by the moments shared across the table.

Had to try Thiago's after all the back and forth reviews. Must say, I'm glad we gave it a shot. Service by Sean was superb, food was delicious, and I love the atmosphere. We started with the bruschetta and my only complaint about the entire experience, was it could've cooked just a tad longer until the cheese was golden brown. My daughter had the shrimp Alfredo and besides my own homemade was the best I've had. It put Red Lobster and Olive Garden to shame, so much creamier and with much more flavor. My mother and I both had the Friday fish only I substituted my French fries for mashed potatoes. The fish were huge pieces of fluffy cod with just the right amount of breading and although the potatoes looked a little plain, they were delicious as well. Cole slaw was pretty good and the side of garlic toasts were good as well. Our entire meal was under $60 and everyone took home another helping. Not sure about the negative reviews I read but we will definitely be back to try many other items on the menu. Forget what you may have heard or seen in other reviews. I highly recommend trying this place out for yourself!

We came in tonight for dinner and ate in one of the igloo’s! The atmosphere was so cute, with the lights and it’s heated with a cute little fire place space heater. It was honestly such a cute dining experience! Our server was Manuel, and he was so sweet and very fast with anything we needed. Our drinks always stayed full and our food was brought out very fast. The bread was warm and the sauce that came with the bread was so good! I’m an Italian from NY so I can be a snob about Italian food, and I do know a good sauce. I had the fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp , scallops, & crab meat. This was hands down the best Alfredo sauce I have had in my whole 6 years of living in Ohio. It honestly tasted homemade. I was very impressed! I usually don’t finish everything on my plate but I did tonight. My husband had the lasagna, and he also was very happy with his meal. He thought it was a nice touch to have the little pastina rings mixed in with the bolognese sauce. He can also be an extremely picky man, but he was very satisfied. Our 2 year old is also picky but she was shoving fist fulls of the penne pasta from the kids menu in her mouth the entire time. I have not seen her eat that much off a plate at any restaurant before. The meatballs also taste like my great grandmas, who was an Italian immigrant and her meatballs were out of this world. We will definitely be coming back and I hope you guys are here to stay in Heath! We really enjoyed ourselves. One last thing, I personally think the food is very affordable, you’re going to spend more at Olive Garden to have fake Italian food. There was a lobster and steak option for under $30, that’s unbeatable.

Stopped in for lunch and I’m so glad we did! Manuel was an amazing server. He kept bring us bread and our drinks stayed full. We got the pizza and the seafood platter. The pizza was so good! The salmon was amazing! We will definitely be back.

We are loving Thiagos since we found it about a month ago! Medium priced, presentation of food is typically better than most, carefully prepared and presented wonderfully. Their sauces are homemade, and the Alfredo is to die for. Bruschetta was beautiful and so delicious I had no time to take a pic. I added a lobster tail for $12, delicious and reasonable. Could have used less sauce on lasagna, but still delicious!

Was very hesitant to try Thiago’s due to the reviews. Our experience for the first visit was a pleasant surprise. The spaghetti sauce was delicious, the pizza was amazing. The servers were extremely friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be going back!

Our first time at this charming establishment. We went to have Italian but, switched to their Cod. It has a delicious light batter which allowed the flakey white cod to shine through. The service was wonderful, and sitting in the sunshine as we ate just made for a perfect experience. I highly recommend Thiago's, and if you can have Sean as a waiter, then it should be an exceptional experience! What a wonderful dinner!
